<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser light amplifier having high stability on an optical axis. <P>SOLUTION: A laser light amplifier includes a container for housing a laser medium, a pair of electrodes which forms a region for amplifying laser light in the laser medium by performing discharge in the laser medium, and an optical system which forms an optical path between a first point on which laser light is incident and a second point from which laser light is output, in such a manner that the amplifying region is arranged in the optical path between the first point and the second point which are conjugate to each other and laser light incident on the first point is amplified passing through the amplifying region at least twice and is transferred to the second point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
