PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable sheath less influenced by wind. SOLUTION: The cable sheath 1 includes a tubular body 2 having a pair of edge portions 3a, 3b extending in a longitudinal direction with a slit 4 formed between the pair of edge portions 3a, 3b; a pair of extending portions 5a, 5b extending from the pair of edge portions 3a, 3b to the outside of the body 2 respectively; and a plurality of convex portions 7 provided on at least the outer surface of the body 2. The plurality of convex portions 7 generates a turbulent flow of wind blown to the cable sheath 1, and a wind pressure load applied on the cable sheath 1 can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
