PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer protector for wire harness with a new structure, which has a pair of division structures that can directly be installed in a target position on the wire harness and achieves a smooth cylindrical circumferential face with no projection while ensuring a sufficient mutual fixing force of divided objects. SOLUTION: In a pair of divided objects 12 and 12 constituting the outer protector for wire harness 10, extending parts 16 are formed at one end in a circumferential direction, and recessed grooves 22 are formed at the other end in the circumferential direction. The pair of divided objects 12 and 12 are combined, and they are mutually engaged by concave-convex engagement structures 18 and 26 arranged in overlapping parts in a radial direction of the extending parts 16 and the base walls 24 of the recessed grooves 22 while the extending part 16 of each divided object 12 is stored in the recessed groove 22 of the opposite divided object 16.
