<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell module in which fire transfer upon ignition is improved by burning a mixture of a residual fuel gas and a residual oxidizing agent gas which do not have contributed to power generation reaction in a fuel battery cell, whereby unburned gases are less likely to leak to the outside. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell module includes a plurality of ignition plugs FP for generating sparks to induce combustion in a combustion portion, at least some of a plurality of fuel battery cells 4 are arranged so as to form a row, one of the ignition plugs FP is disposed at the top end of one of a plurality of fuel battery cells 4 arranged in a row, and another one of the plurality of ignition plugs is disposed at the top end of one of the plurality of fuel battery cells arranged in another row. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
