<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for controlling a series resonant converter, which prevents breakage of a switch element due to off-resonance in a series resonant converter. <P>SOLUTION: The series resonant converter 1 includes switch elements Q1 and Q2 that are provided on a primary side of a transformer T to form a half-bridge circuit, diodes D1 and D2 that are provided on a secondary side of the transformer T to rectify an electromotive force generated on the secondary side of the transformer, a first current detection part 21 for detecting a current flowing in the diode D1, and a second current detection part 22 for detecting a current flowing in the diode D2. In the series resonant converter 1, the switch element Q2 is turned off when it is detected that a current starts flowing in the diode D1, and the switch element Q1 is turned off when it is detected that a current starts flowing in the diode D2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
