<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric for abrasive cloth capable of further flattening the surface of an object to be polished, and reducing the rate of occurrence of defect (scratch) of the surface of the object to be polished, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The fabric for abrasive cloth is made by using knitted fiber which includes polyester multifilament yarn (A) having single fiber diameter of 50-1,500 nm and has an elongation degree of 200% or less in both longitudinal and lateral directions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
