<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syringe not requiring severe dimensional accuracy and lowering the risk of contamination in use. <P>SOLUTION: This syringe 1 includes: a barrel 2; a luer tapered part 7; a flange part 8; a protector 3 covering the outer periphery of the barrel 2 and including an engagement part 11 engaging with the flange part 8 at the rear end; and an adapter 5. The protector 3 can store an injection needle 4 in the interior thereof. The protector 3 includes a projecting part 12 at the engagement part side of the inner peripheral surface. The adapter 5 includes a held part 26 and a needle base engagement part 25 on the outer peripheral surface of a drum part 24. The inside diameter of the drum part 24 is formed larger than the outside diameter of the luer tapered part 7. A needle base 19 mounted to the needle base engagement part 25 is mounted to the luer tapered part 7 and positioned and held at the front end of the barrel 2. When the protector 3 releases the flange part 8 and moves the barrel 2 to the rear of the protector 3, the held part 26 is held on the projecting part 12, and the needle base 19 is released from the luer tapered part 7 so that the injection needle 4 is stored together with the adapter 5 in the protector 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
