PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoresponsive steam trap capable of rapidly ejecting a condense each time when the condense flows in a valve chest, after ejecting a low temperature condense in early ventilation. SOLUTION: The valve casing comprised of a body 1 and a lid 2 is formed with an inlet, a valve chest and an outlet. A valve seat member 9 through which a deviation path 8 communicating with the valve chest 4 and the outlet 7 is opened is provided between the valve chest 4 and the outlet 7. A temperature control element 11 which comprises a wall member 14, a diaphragm member 15, an expansion medium 16 encapsulated between both members 14 and 15 and a valve member 17 attached on the side of the valve seat member 9 of the diaphragm member 15 and through which a communication path 18 penetrating the wall member 14, the diaphragm member 15 and the valve member 17 is opened is disposed in the valve chest 4. The opening area of the communication path 18 of the temperature control element 11 is formed in a smaller size than the opening area of the deviation path 8 of the valve seat member 9. A float 19 is disposed in the valve chest 4, whereby the communication path 18 of the temperature control element 11 is open and closed depending on the displacement due to the floating and falling of the float 19.
