PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper part light emission type organic EL element small in temporal deterioration of luminous intensity, and to provide an Al alloy sputtering target used for formation of a reflecting film for structuring a positive electrode layer of the upper part light emission type organic EL element. SOLUTION: The reflecting film for structuring the positive electrode layer of the upper part light emission type organic EL element, and a sputtering target used for formation of the reflecting film, are formed of Al alloy having a component composition containing 0.2-1.5% of Ga and 2-6% of Ni at mass% as alloy components, and remaining, which is Al and unavoidable impurities (only 0.01% or less).
