PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection reagent enabling the simple fluorescent observation of the glandular structure of intestinal mucosa, and to provide a use thereof. SOLUTION: This inspection reagent for the fluorescent observation of intestinal mucosa comprises a buffer solution adjusted to pH 7 to 8, and containing, as a main ingredient, a fluorescent pigment increasing fluorescent intensity with the lowering of pH in a lower pH region than the pH of the buffer solution.
