Balloon catheters, coil assemblies, and methods for making the same. An example balloon catheter may include a coil assembly. The coil assembly may include a coil (42), a coating disposed on the coil, and a sheath (44) disposed over the coil and the coating. A guidewire lumen (50) may be defined by the coil assembly. An outer tube (28) disposed over at least a portion of the coil assembly. A balloon (30) is coupled to the outer tube. An inflation lumen (38) is defined between the coil assembly and the outer tube.
