ELECTROLYTE MEMBRANE AND MEMBRANE-ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY
摘要
Disclosed is an electrolyte membrane which has a structure wherein rubber fine particles having an average particle diameter of from 20 nm to 1 µm and substantially containing no ion-conducting group are uniformly dispersed in a matrix that contains a resin component having an ion-conducting group. The electrolyte membrane forms an excellent assembly with an electrode, and is free from cracks or fractures since the electrolyte membrane can maintain flexibility even at low humidities or in the absolute dry state. In addition, since the matrix having an ion-conducting group is uninterrupted, the electrolyte membrane exhibits high ion conductivity even at low humidities or in the absolute dry state.
