PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal and a service method thereof are provided to restrict functions of the mobile communication terminal which is not used in a corresponding country during oversea roaming. CONSTITUTION: A location based service providing unit(162) grasps current location information of a mobile communication terminal. The location based service providing unit provides a location based service. A data communication unit(164) performs a data communication function of the mobile communication terminal. If the mobile communication terminal performs the oversea roaming function, a function limiting unit(166) limits the function of the location based service providing unit.
