<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifetime acceleration testing method capable of enhancing reliability of lifetime evaluation by simulating in high precision and high speed a deterioration state of each constituent member of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell due to normal operation accompanied by start and stoppage. <P>SOLUTION: The lifetime acceleration testing method of the polymer electrolyte fuel cell includes a power generation test as well as an open-circuit potential retention test for accelerating degradation of an electrolyte film, a high-voltage retention test for accelerating oxidation corrosion of constituent materials of an electrode, and a potential scanning test for accelerating alleviation of a catalytic activity surface area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
