<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell separator in which, in a gas passage structure having an amorphous carbon film formed on the surface, the gas passage cross-section is made further finer and the power generation performance is further improved. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell separator includes a gas passage structure in which an amorphous carbon film is formed on the surface, and the gas passage structure 12 is constituted of an expanded metal 21 in which the amorphous carbon film 21a is formed on the surface, and the gas passage cross-section is made fine. The expanded metal 21 is used in which the surface of the amorphous carbon film 21a is made hydrophilic so that the contact angle θ1 with adhering water 22 may be 40° or less, and discharge performance of generated water in the gas passage by the expanded metal 21 is enhanced and even if the gas passage cross-section is made fine, excellent discharge of generated water in the gas passage is made possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
