摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle instrument control system with excellent versatility allowing the prevention of erroneously mounting of slave devices. <P>SOLUTION: The slave devices 200 imparted with no self-identifier are successively connected to a bus of an in-vehicle LAN 10. A master device 100 stores a list 14 of identifiers of the slave devices 200 in advance, and monitors whether the slave devices 200 imparted with no self-identifier are connected to the bus. When the master device 100 detects the slave devices 200 imparted with no self-identifier, it transmits identifiers to the slave devices 200. The slave devices 200 store the identifiers received from the master device 100.
