<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display information of an appropriate size for each viewer by dividing and varying a display area according to the display area needed by a display content at one display device. <P>SOLUTION: The division variable display device includes: a display part 10 for displaying a video in the form of one-screen displaying or divided-screen displaying; a control means 30 for outputting an instruction signal to instruct a screen display form of one-screen displaying or divided-screen displaying on the basis of operation commands from a plurality of viewers, determining video types on the basis of contents indicated by operation commands, and outputting the instruction signal of a display area of a divided screen on the basis of a combination of the determined video types; a content management part 40 for reading and outputting video signals and audio signals of contents instructed by a content material data-storing means 41 on the basis of the instruction signal instructing the screen display form from the control means 30; and a video processing means 50 for synthesizing videos supplied from the content management part 40 to the divided screen to supply the synthesized video to the display part 10 on the basis of the instruction signal of the display area given by the control means 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
