<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital television broadcast receiver which allows an optimum channel to be set for each country in which the digital television broadcast receiver is installed. <P>SOLUTION: The digital television broadcast receiver 101 allocates an LCN (logical channel number) for HD (high-resolution) in a channel with the LCN existing therein to the same channel number as that of the LCN preferentially when a selected reception country is preset as an A country and when an original network ID included in received broadcast waves indicates the country (A country) preset as a reception country. Further, when the selected reception country is preset as the A country and when the original network ID included in the received broadcast waves indicates a country other than the country preset as the reception country, it is considered that broadcasting of a neighboring country can be received, and since the broadcasting is separated from broadcasting of its own country, processing for allocating an arbitrary channel number on and after 800 channel number regardless of the existence/absence of the LCN is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
