<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging element preventing degradation of accuracy of a focus detection signal caused by shading performance. <P>SOLUTION: This imaging element includes: a plurality of imaging pixels each having a microlens 265, a photoelectric conversion part for receiving light flux having passed therethrough to output an imaging signal, and a wiring layer arranged between the microlens and the photoelectric conversion part; a plurality of focus detection pixels 220A, 220B having the microlenses 265, the photoelectric conversion parts 220a, 220b for receiving light flux having passed therethrough to output focus detection signals, and the wiring layers 280, 281 arranged between the microlenses and the photoelectric conversion parts; shading masks 261 for covering partial parts of the photoelectric conversion parts; and shading members 283 for preventing the light flux having passed through the microlenses from passing through spaces between the wiring layers and the shading masks to enter the photoelectric conversion parts 220a, 220b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
