PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact laser light source device which reduces coherence of a plurality of laser beams and suppresses speckle noise, and to provide an image display device provided with the same. SOLUTION: The laser light source device includes a light source part outputting fundamental wave light and a wavelength selection element receiving the fundamental wave light and selectively transmitting a prescribed wavelength included in the fundamental wave light.
