PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave-shielding gasket having a metal plating layer never corroded, hardly causing fracture of the metal plating layer even when bent, that is, excelling in bending resistance, and hardly causing separation of the metal plating layer when it is brought into contact with, for instance, a housing, that is, excelling in wear resistance. SOLUTION: In this electromagnetic wave-shielding gasket, a coating film layer containing conductive polymer particulates and a binder is formed on a surface of a base material; a metal plating film is formed on the coating film layer by an electrodeless plating method; and a sheet-like elastic body is formed on the metal plating film.
