<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to notice presence of mail forgotten to read contents from a vehicle-mounted device with a hands-free function in the case where mail incoming to a cellular phone occurs during a speech using the cellular phone. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When there is mail incoming to a cellular phone 3 during a speech using the cellular phone 3, a vehicle-mounted hands-free device 2 notifies a user of mail incoming and determines whether an operation for displaying contents of mail is performed. If it is determined that the operation for displaying the contents of the mail is not performed, presence of mail with non-displayed contents is stored as a non-read history. If a BT communication link connected with the mail incoming cellular phone 3 is disconnected thereafter, the user is notified about the presence of mail with non-displayed contents as non-read information.
