<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To classify and store image files which are acquired by imaging by an imaging device so as to be more easily recognized by a user without burdening the user in an image managing device such as a PC. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An image file which is classified to a folder based on a folder classifying condition set in the imaging device is inputted (S105), then an attribute and the folder classifying condition of the imaging device are obtained (S103), then the folder is produced based on the acquired attribute and the folder classifying condition, then the image file having an attribute corresponding to the produced folder is classified to the produced folder (S104, S105).
