<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-halogen flame-resistant wire of phosphorus-free type which is applicable to BWR and PWR use, and also is applied to an inverse sequential method testing, having thermal resistance, radiation resistance, and high flame retardancy. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This is an insulated wire used in a nuclear power plant, and the insulating layer of a conductor is formed by adding hindered amine 0.1-5 parts by mass to an engineering plastics such as polyether-ether ketone resin, polyether ketone resin, polyphenylene-sulfide resin, and polyether-sulfone resin.
