A heat exchanging ventilator comprises a box-shaped body casing having therein a discharge passage for discharging indoor air outdoors and a supply passage for supplying outdoor air indoors, a heat exchanger disposed at a crossing section where the discharge passage and the supply passage cross each other and exchanging heat between a discharge air flowing in the discharge passage and a supply air flowing in the supply passage, and a filter holding unit which has a holding frame and a receiving pan integrated together and is adapted to be removably mounted to the body casing together with a filter, the holding frame holding the filter on the heat exchanger on the side thereof into which the supply air flows, the receiving pan receiving an object dropping from the filter. The heat exchanging ventilator can be more easily maintained and serviced. |
