The embodiment relates to a light-emitting device (LED). The LED according to the embodiment comprises: a 1st conductive semiconductor layer, an active layer, and a 2nd conductive semiconductor layer on a substrate; a 1st insulative layer enclosing the outer portions of the 2nd conductive semiconductor layer and the active layer; and a 1st electrode layer formed on the outer portion of the 1st conductive semiconductor layer.
