A wireless device (10) receives signals from a wireless device (20) via a plurality of downlinks with different frequencies, and with each respective downlink, determines the modulation method having transmission performance that complies with the quality of the received signal, and transmits the modulation configuration information to the wireless device (20) by utilizing a plurality of uplinks with different frequencies, said modulation configuration information compiling information comprising said determined modulation method for the respective downlinks. The wireless device (20) refers to the modulation configuration information received via at least one of the uplinks and establishes the modulation method of the signals transmitted by each of the plurality of downlinks.
