PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide proper mode changeover between an electric drive mode and a hybrid drive mode corresponding to the operating state or drive environment of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The hysteresis of an accelerator opening between mode changeover conditions from an electric drive mode to a hybrid drive mode and changeover conditions from the hybrid drive mode to the electric drive mode is configured so as to be changed according to the operating state or drive environment of the vehicle, for example, so as to be made larger at a low speed, and so as to be made larger according as the temperature of an electric drive control system including a motor/generator is high.
