<p>A method for loop back link detection in transmission cable and device thereof are disclosed in the present invention, wherein the method includes: a transmission end transmits the first data frame to a communication opposite end, the first data frame carries the first pattern; the data transmitted through an E1/T1 receiving cable is received; the pattern carried in the data frame received through the E1/T1 receiving cable is compared with the first pattern; if they are same, the existence of the loop back link is determined; if they are different, the inexistence of the loop back link is determined. The embodiment of the present invention enables to detect the loop back link and avoid the misinformation of the loop back link by comparing the patterns in the first transmitted data frame and the received data frame.</p> |
