<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a staircase where a slope can be formed by moving a part of members by simple operation by, for example, a wheelchair user. <P>SOLUTION: In the staircase, one stair is composed of two members, a first member 1 and a second member 2, and the slope can be formed by moving the first member 1. The movement of the first member 1 can be carried out by the rotation around a hinge provided in the vicinity of the center of a rise, or by the parallel translation of the first member 1 by a structure capable of housing the first member 1 in the inside of the second member 2.
