PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically specify hardware or software to which a changed password is to be distributed.

SOLUTION: In an environment where execution of authentication carried out by matching authentication information (first authentication information) about a first component with authentication information (second authentication information) transmitted from a second component to the first component is required for connecting the second component to the first component, a computer system includes: a repository storing at least one predetermined attribute of a component and relationship between the component and another component; a specification part specifying the second component affected by change of the first authentication information based on the relationship; and an instruction part instructing change of the second authentication information transmitted from the specified second component.
