<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel construction method simplifying placed concrete compacting work and attaining high quality construction, and a form vibrator. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The tunnel construction method includes steps of installing a slide arch center 1 in an excavated hole, placing ready-mixed concrete between the internal wall surface of the excavated hole and the slide arch center 1, and compacting the ready-mixed concrete by the vibration of vibrators 21 installed in a plurality of stages at the slide arch center 1. The slide arch center 1 in use includes a form body 10; the vibrators 21 installed in the plurality of stages at the side face of the form body 10; a timer control device for controlling the operating time of the vibrators 21; and an inverter 22 for controlling the operation frequency of the vibrators 21.
