<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cowl louver for facilitating assembling in a simple structure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the cowl louver mounting structure 10 for liquid-tightly engaging the rear end of the cowl louver 11 disposed between the lower end of a windshield 21 and the front hood 22 of an automobile with a lower end of the windshield, a molding 12 extending in a vehicle width direction along the lower end of the windshield is attached to the vehicle body side at the lower part of the rear end of the cowl louver. The molding has a first engagement part 12a in its longitudinal direction, and the cowl louver 11 includes a second engagement part 13 extending in a vehicle width direction at the lower face of its rear end. The cowl louver mounting structure 10 is configured to fix and retain the rear end 11a of the cowl louver 11 to the vehicle body side through the molding by engaging the first engagement part 12a with the second engagement part 13.
