<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step cleaning device capable of stably cleaning a step, by maintaining performance of a cleaning device, by removing dust-dirt and the oil content sticking to a cleaning brush without stopping operation of the cleaning device, in the step cleaning device of a passenger conveyor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This step cleaning device includes a brush device 3 for cleaning an upper surface part of the step by allowing rotating brush bodies 3A and 3B to abut on the upper surface part of the step 6 connected in an endless shape, and transfer means 4 (4A and 4B) arranged so as to abut on the brush bodies and having a sticking object 41 for rollingly sticking dusts-dirts sticking to the brush bodies from the brush bodies.
