The present invention provides a synthesis method for producing isocyanato-alkyl silane, comprising the steps of: (a) providing silicon-based alkyl carbamate;(b) pyrolyzing the silicon-based alkyl carbamate of the step (a) in the presence of transition metal complexes, to obtain the isocyanato-alkyl silane. The present inventive method increases the degree of dealcoholization of the starting material, i.e. silicon-based alkyl carbamate group, and affords a high selectivity for the isocyanato-alkyl silane product.
