<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for measuring microorganisms, capable of easily and swiftly and continuously treating a plurality of samples by a chemiluminescence method, even in a site such as a food plant or drug plant. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The system part of which is formed of an optically transparent member is provided, working as follows: in the closed space, a sample solution containing microorganisms to be measured and a reagent solution are mixed together to promote luminescence, which is put to an optical measurement to accomplish the aimed microorganisms measurement. This system comprises: a rotary disc 105 rotating by placing a plurality of microorganisms-measuring chips 101; a reagent addition unit 102 situated above the rotary disc and functioning to add a measurement reagent into the chips; a liquid-feed unit 104 functioning to feed a measurement reagent (solution) to the unit 102; an optical measurement unit 106 situated beneath the rotary disc and functioning to measure the luminescence of the microorganisms inside the chips; and a processing unit 107 receiving luminescence measurement signals from the optical measurement unit and conducting various kinds of controls.
