<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic bread-making machine which is convenient for making bread from cereal grains without through a milling step. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A bread container 50 placing a kneading blade 52 inside is inserted into a baking chamber 40 provided inside a body 10 of the automatic bread-making machine 1A. A lid 30 of the body 10 includes a vertical penetrating part 31 into which a crushing unit 70A is inserted. The crushing unit 70A includes: a vertical shaft motor 73 incorporated in a motor case 71; a rotation shaft 75 joined to an output shaft 74 of the motor 73; a crushing blade 76 fixed to a lower end of the rotation shaft 75; and a sheath body 77 enclosing the rotation shaft 75 and the crushing blade 76. The rotation shaft 75, the crushing blade 76, and the sheath body 77 are hung down into the bread container 50 from the lid 30.
