Disclosed is a multilayer laser-markable sheet for an electronic passport having three sheets, sheet A, multilayer sheet B, and sheet C, as the basic structural units, where sheet A comprises a transparent polycarbonate resin composition having a thermoplastic polycarbonate resin and a material that absorbs laser light; multilayer sheet B comprises a transparent thermoplastic resin including a thermoplastic polycarbonate resin, and at least one of the skin or core layers of multilayer sheet B includes at least one dye or pigment; and sheet C comprises a sheet or a laminate sheet. The disclosed laser-markable sheet for an electronic passport simultaneously has a superior ability to be marked by a laser; high contrast; vivid letters, numbers, and images; heat-fusibility; transparency; sheet transportability; separability from a mold after heat pressing; heat resistance; foldability; and abrasion resistance.
