MEASURING METHOD FOR MASS OF LOADED SOIL ON DUMP TRUCK AND CALCULATING METHOD OF SOIL VOLUME CONVERSION FACTOR

PURPOSE: A method for calculating the amount of soil loaded in a dump truck and a method for calculating soil volume conversion factor are provided to calculate the amount of soil loaded in a dump truck using laser scanning and to calculate soil volume conversion factor. CONSTITUTION: A method for calculating the amount of soil loaded in a dump truck comprises following steps. The access of a dump truck is sensed(S10). An identifying/reading device recognizes and reads identification tag installed in a dump truck to transmit read signals to the computer(S30). The form of the soil loaded in the dump truck is scanned from various directions using multiple laser scanners(S20). Specification on the loading box of the corresponding dump truck is brought from the database(S40).
