<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device and an imaging device, which can reduce longitudinal stripes caused in an image while suppressing shifting of a black level. <P>SOLUTION: The solid-state imaging device includes: a column comparison section 3 provided for each pixel signal-reading line 21, which compares a voltage of a pixel signal with a determination reference voltage to determine whether or not the voltage of the pixel signal is lower than the determination reference voltage; a clipping transistor 41 provided for each pixel signal-reading line 21, which limits a voltage of the pixel signal to a clipping reference voltage; and a clipping circuit operation changeover switch 42 for switching the clipping transistor 41 between active and inactive states. The clipping circuit operation changeover switch 42 causes the clipping transistor 41 to be active if it is determined by the column comparison section 3 that the voltage of the pixel signal is lower than the determination reference voltage, but causes it to be inactive if it is determined by the column comparison section 3 that the voltage of the pixel signal is equal to or higher than the determination reference voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
