PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device that prevents a battery cover from falling off due to sudden impact or fall. SOLUTION: A mobile phone 1 includes: a connector cap 5 which is mounted on a connector 4 having a recess; and the battery cover 3 which is mounted on or dismounted from the mobile phone 1 by slide movement. A notch 8 is provided in the battery cover 3 so that the notch 8 is engaged with a protrusion 51 of the connector cap 5 when the battery cover 3 is mounted on the mobile phone 1 by the slide movement. The notch 8 is caught by the protrusion 51 when slide movement of the battery cover 3 is performed, and thus, the battery cover is prevented from falling off due to unintentional slide movement.
