PURPOSE: A shock absorber is provided to control the movement of fluid by moving the fluid inside a fluid chamber along the tapered crevice between a stopper receiving part and a hydraulic stopper to an extension chamber. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorber includes a hydraulic stopper(170). The hydraulic stopper restricts the excessive tension of a piston rod(30) which is guided and reciprocated with a rod guide(40) which is installed in the upper inner side of an inner pipe(10) and an outer pipe(20). The hydraulic stopper is stored by being pressed and assembled between the inner pipes in the lower side part of the rod guide. A stopper receiving unit(160) which has an inner circumference surface which is tapered in a upward direction is included.
