PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal capable of correcting a file generation time and a correcting method thereof are provided to calculate a file generation time when current time information is not received. CONSTITUTION: A storage unit(140) stores a random time file including file generation random time information. If current time information is inputted, a control unit(160) reads the random time file. The control unit calculates file generation time information according to a preset type. The control unit stores correction time file in the storage unit.
