<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater having superior energy-saving performance and convenience by accurately detecting the presence or absence of a people taking a bath in a bathroom and properly performing hot water supply, and heating a bathtub on the basis of the result of the detection. <P>SOLUTION: The water heater includes the bathtub, a bathtub heating means for heating hot water/water in the bathtub, a human sensor 8 detecting the presence or absence of the people in the bathroom, and a remote controller 9. The remote controller 9 is provided with the human sensor 8, and a front end face side of the human sensor 8 is projected to a front side with respect to a front end face 9 of the remote controller, so that a view angle of the human sensor 8 loaded on the bathroom remote controller 9 can be widened, and the accuracy in detecting the human in the bathroom can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
