<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film which causes no deformation failure of a film roll thereof, such as so-called horseback failure, deformation transferred from a winding core, and wrinkles at the start of winding, even after long-term storage, and which has excellent cutting properties, to provide a polarizing plate and a liquid crystal device using the optical film, and to provide a method for manufacturing the optical film, reducing manufacturing load, equipment load and environment load for drying and collecting a solvent. <P>SOLUTION: The optical film contains a compound having a polymer obtained by polymerizing at least one kind of ethylenically unsaturated monomers having a sugar structure as a partial structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
