<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized, compact, and less expensive seat belt guide anchor by reducing materials to the least and facilitating manufacture to the utmost extent, while further efficiently ensuring predetermined strength and rigidity. <P>SOLUTION: A metal plate 5a of the seat belt guide anchor 5 includes: a curved portion 8a<SB>3</SB>, right below an opening 8a<SB>1</SB>for mounting hole, extended along the direction perpendicular or approximately perpendicular to the vertical lineαpassing through the opening 8a<SB>1</SB>for mounting hole; and projecting portion 8b<SB>3</SB>, positioning at a linear portion 8c<SB>1</SB>of an opening 8c for belt guide hole, and projecting perpendicular or approximately perpendicular to a second guide portion 8b<SB>2</SB>. These curved portion 8a<SB>3</SB>and projecting portion 8b<SB>3</SB>are formed by a simple bending manufacturing.
