PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage cabinet capable of reducing burdens on the body of a user and improving the convenience by raising a stored article stored in a lower drawer in the user's feet and allowing the user to easily take out the stored article in a natural posture without significant change of the posture and without requiring a large force. SOLUTION: The typical constitution of the storage cabinet is the storage cabinet (a base cabinet 130) which can slidably house the drawer 134 in which the stored article can be stored. The drawer further includes a mounting member 150 on which the stored article can be mounted inside, and also includes lifting mechanisms (a support member 160, and guide rails 194 and 196) for raising the mounting member as operatively connected to the motion of the drawer housed in the storage cabinet to be drawn out, and lowering the mounting member as operatively connected to the motion of the drawer to be forced into the storage cabinet.
