PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption without missing any transaction. SOLUTION: A control section 20 inside communication equipment 2_1 monitors a generation time interval between transactions TR to another communication equipment 2_2 and causes a transmission section 10 to transmit one transaction to which the generation time interval is set, so as to follow the other transaction. Thereafter, the control section 20 cuts off power supply to the transmission section 10 for a time corresponding to the generation time interval. Whereas a control section 40 inside the communication equipment 2_2 cuts off power supply to a receiving section 30 for the time corresponding to the generation time interval according to receipt of the one transaction via a path P1.
