<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grant an operation a click as well as to ameliorate response in click granting with cost reduced. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A first click device 9 as well as a second click device 10 used in the joystick device is provided with a turning resistance rest part 15 fitted to a shaft 13, a resistance granting means 17, and an electromagnet 14x (14y). The resistance granting means 17 has a steel-wire coil spring 19 and a pressing member 20, of which, spring force of the former 19 presses the pressing member 20 against a recessed face 16 of the turning resistance rest part 15 to grant turning resistance. The electromagnet 14x is contained in a device case 12, and the shaft 13 has a turning position detecting means provided. The turning resistance rest part 15 and the shaft 13 are set in free integral turning movement, and at the same time, the resistance granting means 17 is so structured to be integrally turned with the shaft 13 at interruption of the electromagnet 14x, and to be attracted to the electromagnet 14x at conduction of the same 14x to be fixed to a non-turning state.
