PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe passenger conveyor capable of preventing a slip stopper member from being floated or removed by deformation thereof. SOLUTION: In this passenger conveyor, a recess 8 is formed in a part of a getting-on/off floor 5, on which passengers walk, and a sheet-like slip stopper member 9 is fixed inside the recess 8 through an adhesive 10. Thus, even in a long term use, the sheet-like slip stopper member 9 can be prevented from being floated or removed by fixing the sheet-like slip stopper member 9 onto the getting-on/off floor 5 by the adhesive 10.
